Dr Foong KW is currently a consultant intensivist and anaesthesiologist in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh which holds a level 3 Intensive Care Unit and a multi-specialty tertiary referral hospital. He completed his masters of Anaesthesiology and intensive care from University Sains Malaysia. He completed his subspecialty training as a consultant intensivist in 2013 and obtained WINFOCUS fellowship in critical care and emergency ultrasound. He is a trainer/facilitator in BASIC, Beyond Basic intensive care nephrology, mechanical ventilation and echocardiography; trainer/facilitator in winfocus USLS, FCU, and MTBE courses; training supervisor for Malaysian Adult Intensive Care fellowship. His special interest is mechanical ventilation, critical care nephrology, critical care ultrasound and ECMO.
OBSTETRIC ANAESTHESIOLOGIST, HOSPITAL RAJA PERMAISURI BAINUN, IPOH
Dr Chan SY graduated from UPM MD in 2002 and obtained her Master of Anaesthesiology (UM) in 2010. She completed Fellowship in Obstetric Anaesthesiology (Mal/Australia) - King Edward Memorial Hospital Perth in 2015 and also obtained Certificate of Completion of Training in Obstetric Anaesthesia (KKM) in 2016. In 2022, she completed her Masters of Science in Acupuncture from IMU. Currently, she is heading the Obstetric Anaesthesia Unit in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh, the biggest hospital in Perak which has 9000 - 10000 deliveries per year. She is also a member of Perak State Obstetric Anaesthesiologist and panel of the state maternal mortality review. She is a Honorary Lecturer for UniKL and Master in Anaesthesiology for UM, UKM, USM, UIAM, UPM, UITM and FCAI examiner.

Dr Devanandhini is currently an anaesthetist and Pain management specialist at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh. She completed her subspecialty fellowship training in Pain management in 2012. She is also Certified Medical Impairement Assessor (CMIA)- NIOSH in 2012. She is a life member, complementary & integrative medicine committee member of Malaysian Medical Association, member of Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologists, life member of Malaysian Association for the Study of Pain, member of Malaysian Society of Interventional Pain Practitioners and a member of International Association of Study of Pain. Dr Siti is currently working as an intensitivst in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh. She completed her subspecialty in adult intensive care in 2014. Her special interest is nutritional support and mechanical ventilation. She has participated in various studies such as SPICE study in 2011, DECUBITUS ICU Trial 2017/2018, INTUBATE Study 2018/2019, MOSAIC II Trial 2019, and the challenges & strategies in managing ICU for Covid 19 pandemic in Malaysia.

Dr Nahemah is currently a neuroanaesthetist in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh. She completed her subspecialty training in neuroanaesthesia at university of Toronto, Canada in July 2022. She also obtained post graduate diploma of regional anaesthesia and analgesia ( Asia) in 2019 from University of Montpellier, France. She participated in Organ Donation Innovative Strategies for Southeast Asia ( ODISSeA) in 2021. She is a member of Malaysian Medical Association(MMA) , Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologist (MSA) and Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care(SNACC).

Dr Ahmad Afifi is currently Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Pain Specialist at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah in Northern Malaysia. Upon completion of Master’sDegree in Anaesthesiology, he pursued subspecialty in Pain Medicine. In 2015, he completed 3 years of Fellowship in Pain Medicine under mentorship of Dr Mary Cardosa at Hospital Selayang, Professor Stephan Schug at Pain Medicine Centre, Royal Perth Hospital and Adjunct Professor Philip Finch at his private practice in Western Australia. He is a member and trainer for Pain Medicine Subspecialty, Regional Anaesthesia and Point-of-Care Ultrasound. He also holds an international CIPS certificate for ultrasound in pain intervention.
OBSTETRIC ANAESTHESIOLOGIST, HOSPITAL SULTANAH BAHIYAH, ALOR SETAR
Dr Nazuha is an obstetric anaesthetist in Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar, Kedah since 2019 till now. She completed her subspecialty fellowship training in obstetric anaesthesia in Gazi Hospital University, Ankara, Turkey in 2019. She is an essential member of the peripartum care team who works closely with the obstetrician, perinatologist, midwife, neonatologist and labour and delivery nurse to ensure safe delivery of low to high-risk women. She had completed fetal surgery short attachment at national center for child health and development, Setagawa, Tokyo, Japan in 2019-2020. In 2016, she also underwent advance clinical training in anaesthesia program.
CARDIAC ANAESTHESIOLOGIST, UNIVERSITY MALAYA MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Dr Fitry is currently heading the Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia unit in University Malaya Medical Centre. He completed subspecialty fellowship training in cardiac anaesthesia at Asian Medical Centre (AMC) in Seoul, Korea. He was also awarded with excellence of service certification by University of Malaya in 2019 and 2021. His primary interest is applying medical technologies to daily clinical practice, particularly advanced hemodynamic monitoring, brain monitoring and viscoelastic test for cardiac and non cardiac surgeries.

Dr Sivaraj Chandran completed his subspecialty fellowship training in Paediatric Anaesthesia at Prince of Songkhla University, Thailand in 2019. He is currently working as a Paediatric Anaesthesiologist in Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar, Kedah. He is a member of Malaysian Medical Association, editor for Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologist Newsletter, member of Malaysian Society of Paediatric Anaesthesiologist, and also a life member of Asian society of Paediatric Anaesthesiologist. He was also awarded with First Prize Anugerah Inovasi for product category for Multipurpose Anaesthesia Transporter by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia in 2022.

Dr Iskandar is currently an anaesthesiologist at UKM medical centre, Kuala Lumpur. He obtained European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia & Acute Pain Management in 2022. Dr. Azizah is a Ministry of Health representative who handles medico legal cases in Malaysia. She collaborates with lawyers and healthcare professionals to reduce the number of medico legal complaints/litigation filed against government healthcare facilities. She received a Chevening scholarship in 2021 and has successfully completed her Master in Law (Law, Medicine, and Healthcare) at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. She worked at Hospital Tuanku Fauziah and Hospital Setiu before joining the Medico Legal Section of the Ministry of Health's Medical Practice Division in 2017. Since then, she has been actively involved in educating healthcare workers about the legal implications of patient care.
